What is Health and Wellbeing Community Referral?

Health and Wellbeing Community Referral is a free service available in East Cork, based in Midleton Family Resource Centre.
The aim of Community Referral is to link people into non -medical sources of support in their community or online,
with the aim of improving overall health and wellbeing.

Who is Community Referral for?

The service is for adults who are ready and willing to participate. The programme is for you if you feel that you need some support to mind your mental health, if you feel isolated, stressed, anxious, lonely, or simply enjoy the company of others. If you feel like you want to take a positive step forward but you’re not sure how, give your local Community Link Worker a call through the contacts provided.

How can we help you?

The Community Link Worker can help to bridge the gap between you and the service/support you need. We will spend time talking about you, and about what matters to you. Your priorities might be to meet new people, to learn a new skill, take up exercise, to access local supports or to further your education. You will choose the activities or supports that are right for you and the Link Worker will help you access them.
